Lehmann & Voss & Co. merges the subsidiaries LEHVOSS UK and Paroxite, with effect January 2009. The name of the merged company is LEHVOSS UK. The Paroxite business will be operated as a division.
Paroxite, founded in 1953, successfully distributes raw materials with special reference to the EU personal care industry and was acquired by LEHVOSS UK in 2008. Both office locations in Congleton (near Manchester) and London as well as the warehouse in Folkestone will be maintained.
This merger will strengthen the competitiveness of the LEHVOSS Group in the personal care industry across Europe and will create new opportunities to commercialise various raw materials.
LEHVOSS UK will serve the market with 20 highly trained employees. The present Managing Director of both companies, Ivan Pennington, will remain head of the merged company.
The groups standard software, SAP, will be launched in January 2009 to operate the Paroxite business. This ensures the group realises the goal of a uniform database. The same standardised order entry, product supply processes and reporting systems will be utilised across the group. This permits marked improvements in the efficiency of all administration processes and simplifies communication within the group entities.
