As a Hamburg-based trading company for chemical and mineral specialities established in 1894, our parent company Lehmann & Voss & Co. has focused for decades on the German home market. Proceeding from this strong basis, we have consistently pushed ahead with the internationalization of our group since 1990 with the objective of offering our products and services on a Pan-European basis. Today we have our own distribution subsidiaries with highly qualified local staff on the major European markets. However, we do not yet consider that the building up of our distribution network has been completed.

Since 2004 we have distributed our successful range of LUVOCOM® modified high-performance thermoplastic compounds in the USA through our joint venture, Techmer Lehvoss Compounds.

Our awareness of the growing importance of the Chinese sourcing and procurement market is documented by our offices in Beijing and Dalian.

The LEHVOSS Group of Companies (without joint ventures) employed 325 people in 2009 and had a turnover of 174 Mio. €.
